Powell said he got chills at the pride he felt, and while he couldn't wave back to the crowd, he said he certainly wasn't ignoring anybody. "They were all in our hearts and minds," he said. I've got the chills right now, and more than a few tears streaming down my face.
Thank God for our brave service men and women! I hope they all know that they are always in the hearts and minds of patriotic Americans.
