Good news, I just spoke with a friend who lives off Mesa Rd in Santee, this is the north east side of Cowles Mountain near Big Rock Park. Her area was spared so she is very happy.

Me too. My SIL lives there on Rumson Road. West Hills Parks is right behind her house. Cross streets are basically Mast Blvd. and the 52. My husband's family all lives in the SD area.

And to top it off, my brother lives in the area in San Bernardino where the Old Fire destroyed 300+ homes. Needless to say, I've been on this computer a lot for the last day or so. Good thing I'm on vacation or I'd be getting next to no work done!
