The sunrise over San Diego just now is unbelievable. First a glowing ball of orange; now hidden completely by smoke. Gonna be a long day.

I went over to the neighborhood park last night to look east towards the Otay fire. You could see the flames trailing down a ridge. Went back a few minutes ago: The smoke and haze have completely hidden everything east from Otay Ranch towards Eastlake.
