policemen are great..but my hero's have and always will be firefighters. Those guys and gals just continue to astound me with their dedication and service to the community. Holy Cr@p.....Bones was right. The only main land corridor in or out of the LA area is the I10.

I listened to Art Bell for awhile overnight and he took calls from fire witnesses. One of them called with the same exact thoughts as bones.. the fires were set originally 1 mile or so from major freeway arteries.

To step outside in east Chula Vista this morning is to step inside a gigantic ashtray. I was outside for about 2 minutes and my clothes and hair reek of smoke.
