yep, domestic terrorists is what they said. Also saying one man got lost, started a fire (to be found?) he got arrested.

Why is it that the hurricane got so much coverage on nat'l cable networks, but a TON of fires in S. Cal doesn't even get an hour?!?!

Maybe a longshot, but....w/ the copycat element.....maybe the media is trying to prevent (arson) forest fires in other states.
Kinda hard to start your own hurricane.

I am getting more convinced as the day has gone on that if it doesn't happen east of the Mississippi, it doesn't happen -- the cable people would rather cover last night's DemocRAT debate which has been on hour after hour with a few comments about the fires!

CNN now saying they will be covering the fires the remainder of the night. Must be listening to everyone complaining. I have been switching around all day and stop on the station that has the fire reports.

KFI now saying that looters are going through homes of areas that've been evac'd. My goodness! Those people need to be SHOT!

This is about the third report of a fire at that street/freewat intersection I've heard today.

Its giving me the creeps. Almost like some one wants Kearney Mesa, Clairement Mesa, and University City to go up in flames. If one of these fires gets out of hand and heads into San Clemente Canyon and/or Murphy Canyon that could be really, really bad.

My mother-in-law is about a mile away (straight line) from that area, BTW.
