As for Cheddar man and the more recent determinations of our history; find it all fascinating. The further back we go; it seems the more forward 'we' become.
There is also La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club Man -- a skeleton found in San Diego County, CA a few years back. The catgut on a fossilized racquet was used to find his age...sabertooth catcut, by the way.
