Well, to begin with; follow the money. Clark doesnt have any. Most persons who reach his rank can expect a cushy job in the Defense industry. No one made Clark a single offer, which led him to open his own consulting practice, and gain investors by using his assumed influence with decision makers in Washington. Clark made the calls seeking business with the Administration that his investors expected him to win, but no one in the Bush Administration returned them. It's hard to have a consultancy when those you hope to influence dont want to hear from you. Clark had to crawl onto CNN because it was the ONLY place willing to hear his opinions. He had to do something to prove that SOMEONE would pay for his experience and ability. CNN fired him. The Government Fired him. Now what? Call yourself a Democrat, use Clinton money to attack Bush. As a Democrat, someone will return his calls.
