Anti-war protesters take to San Francisco streets

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Thousands of anti-war protesters from around the state took to the sun-drenched streets of San Francisco on Saturday, opposing the U.S. occupation of Iraq and urging President Bush to bring the troops home.
Some protesters took a midnight bus from Burbank to make it to San Francisco in time for the morning gathering. Bill Nelson, 30, made that trip with his mother, Anna May Nelson, 67.

They aren't doing real well. I seem to remember they expected around 30,000 supporters. 5,000 is a dismal failure considering their organizational abilities.
Looks like people are starting to tune them out.

I live 2 blocks from Jefferson Square Park. There's a little alley behind my apartment where you can park. There is a peacenik who couldn't get his car started after the rally still parked there, been basically living in his car there since Saturday.
