Only 39% of British teens can recognise the truth?
England is surely doomed.
Hmmm. I saw 39% as a very positive number. Teen-agers are perhaps the most irrational segment of the population. They are much more given to their emotions and have a hard time taking a larger perspective into account when thinking about a problem. I'd say Britain's future is looking pretty bright if 4 out of 10 actually hold this view. The percentage is likely to increase as that same population segment hits adulthood and begins paying taxes/voting.
If you think about it, 40% in a parliamentary form of government was enough to get Schroeder elected in Germany. Were I a politician I would be simply ecstatic (within this political system) to have such a large chunk of anybody seeing this as a problem (assuming this was one of my core issues).
