At long last I've processed my photos and post them below.

A few comments.  All who worked on the rally or donated to help fund the rally should appreciate that it was a stunning success.  Although all of us were disappointed in the poor attendance, there was a large amount of  favorable publicity.  Kristinn and Angelwood especially are owed the gratitude of all patriots for their hard work on this.

Driving from the rally to the counter-protest, I heard local all-news radio station WTOP present a great sound bite from L_Von_Mises about the need to support our troops and President in time of war.

The late night local news on DC's channels 7 and 9 (only ones that I caught) both mentioned rallies supporting the troops and the current U.S. policy.

The photo of the MOAB I (Mother of All Banners) "God Bless Our Soldiers Liberating the World from One Tyrant at a Time" that ran on a major wire service (AP or Reuters) was stunning.

TgslTakoma brilliantly conceived and made that banner.  My small part was providing the bamboo used to hold it.

Those FReepers holding the banner in the photo and those who held it at other times showed what FReepers are made of.  They refused to yield in the face of a stiff breeze intent on toppling the banner. FReepers' beliefs in the U.S.A., its Constitution and our most cherished values do not sway in the breeze.  FReepers including L_Von_Mises, GunsAreOK, and Doctor Raoul, made sure the banner was likewise held stable (L-R in the AP or Reuters photo). Staytrue and Taxman also held the banner stable at other times.  .

The MOAB photo that publicized the FReepers' support the troops  message so effectively resulted from TgslTakoma's hard work in making the banner.  It also resulted from the choice, booking, and arranging of the rally at the brilliant venue.  The considerable efforts of Kristinn and Angelwood allowed the banner to be in front of the U.S. Capitol, leading to the incredible photo of the banner and Capitol together.

God bless former Congressman Bob Dornan, Air Force veteran, patriot, and friend of the DC Chapter.

Niger Innis gives another great speech supporting our troops and our beloved country as the Capitol provides the appropriate patriotic background.

Disruptive leftist (right side) admonished by police officer as GunsAreOK (left, wearing black T-shirt), stand waite (middle, wearing red shirt and red hat), and Race Bannon (partially obscured, just to right of officer and behind him, wearing blue shirt) watch.

At site of counter-protest to ANSWER & comrades. ANSWER parade "marshalls" wearing appropriate puke green vests are in street at front of the parade as it turns corner in front and below FReepers on hill and behind visible temporary metal fence.

Leftist flotsam and jetsam in full "glory."

Among the causes are the re-unification of Korea (white and blue flags).  Very timely as North Korean dictator Kim Il-Jong is running low of civilians to starve and torture.

Treason on parade.  Leftist' sign

calls for mutiny by U.S. troops.

Guy probably used to write product labels.

Really clever sign hides FReeper
(think it is jonalvy44) as he is interviewed by NBC
(local or national?) reporter.

I have a question regarding the photo captioned "Disruptive leftist..."
Race Bannon is about nine feet tall - how could he ever be "partially obscured" by anything?

Hi Race. I know you're not really nine feet tall. It only seems that way because I'm so short.

Great photos, BillF! I have some good ones, too. I just don't know how to get them posted on Webshots and have been too tired to learn something new right now.

You grew some great bamboo poles in your garden -- they looked good holding up tgslTakoma's MOABs.
