I haven't discussed this point with him yet. I read through your posts and I don't consider your statements disrespectful although I see it differently. He is grieving and from looking at the posts I think he said something out of anger and was not aiming at you but at another poster. For that I apologize to you and I will speak to him about it after the memorial services. For some of the other things that some people have said on this and other threads I am alarmed and saddened by the callousness of some of the posters. This does hurt him deeply and I must say it hurts me too. I have been to the crime scene (in the street not on the shooter's property) and have discussed with others who are privy to what happened. I have formed my views and my son has formed his accordingly. I am a very sad father right now. I don't wish to have such nasty discourse with people who I am sure I have much to agree with on other topics. I hope and pray that when all is public we can have a more agreeable discourse.
