I agree. That is why I don't think we should be slamming this guy. Shot in the back does makes this look bad but I cannot say what the homeowner thought he saw or what happened. Best to leave this one up to people with all of the facts.

The article does NOT say he was "shot in the back".
It says he was shot, then he ran.

Shot in the back does makes this look badThe article doesn't say that the kid was shot in the back. The article says the family CONTENDS the kid was shot in the back. Every time someone is shot doing something wrong the family and the friends of the dead guy always CLAIM he was shot in the back and therefore was no threat and shouldn't have been shot.
