To me, there are two "I don't understand" points to this story (so far). You just made of them. The other as has been stated several times is - if it's a ring and run game why was the kid still at the door?

We were thinking the same thing (see above)....they must have rang that guys doorbell or knocked more than once. The shooter had to have been standing at the door.
