Most folks here know that, most folks generally don't.

Terri's expendible in ACLU's fight to rid us of those bothersome checks and balances. We can then progress further, faster. It's a progressive POV.

This'll be a test of the socialist de-education of folks: millions will rant about how the supreme court overturned perfectly sound legal, historical precident...dating all the way back to...well, everybody knows the courts have always had the final say! I mean, what kind of chaos would ensue if everybody thought they had the final say about what's right and wrong, what laws are constitutional, and such! Oh...the humanity.

The problem is that most Americans THINK that courts make decisions where there is no clear legal precedent.. it is the role of the LEGISLATURE and the EXECUTIVE branch to make/change the law... The courts exist for the purpose of applying the law to specific cases which are brought before them period.....
