The dynasty is dead

The incredible arrogance of the Snankees shows the most when they lose.

They believe a successful season means winning the World Series. If they finish second they see it as a losing season. To expect to win the World Series in March shows how out of touch they are and how arrogant they are.

Everyone knows that it takes more than a few lucky breaks to win it all.

"Your nickle and dime team ain't won squat yet....It takes 4 to win the Series, and you won't be getting it in New York. Nope, not in my house. They're done toying with you. You will now personally experince the grave yard known as Yankee Stadium. Yes, the New York Yankees "storied history" commands it.

"Beckett?? He hasn't beaten the Yanks, has he? In fact he hasn't beat anybody in the entire playoffs BUT the Cubs. McKeon has panicked. With three days rest he won't be able to take down the Bronx Bombers, and neither will Pavano. They won't have enough.

"Aaah...Coming back like this will be so gratifying for me. Soooo agonizing for you. You see -- we Yankees Fans have been through the drill before. We know what the script is. The Yanks will win the World Series because it is theirs."
