What do Alaskan Muslims do when Ramadan falls in the middle of Summer? It doesn't. It's timed to be somewhat closer to the Equinox. Frankly, it would be a bigger problem this time of year for those living closest to the South Pole. I guess they don't consider it, because there aren't sizable Muslim populations south of the Tropic of Capricorn.

The question was meant in jest, but, since the Islamic calendar is a lunar calendar, thus 11 days shorter than a solar calendar, the months gradually shift from one season to the other.
