since when does a man in the Military automatically lose his 1st amendment Rights?

When his speech is politically incorrect. If the general had whined like Gen. Clark, he'd be hailed by the media as a hero.

How often and how profoundly has this gentleman criticized the terrorists?

Boy that's a great question. It would be enlightening, no doubt, to sift through this guy's writings over the past two years or so to see if he has directed the same level of criticism towards the Islamic terrorists and their abominations as he has over General Boykin and his comments. And "yeah, the terrorists are bad BUT..." doesn't count.

This argument may be settled the next time these SOB's blow up a building full of innocents in the United States. America does not need to be a haven for murderous cults.

""There is an undercurrent of anti-Muslim and anti Arab sentiment fomented by right-wing Christian evangelical groups ..
ALI..I WONDER WHY???..................

The Saudi government has warned Western residents they must not eat, drink and smoke in public during Ramadan.

The Interior Ministry said Wednesday that penalties would be imposed on any non-Muslim who violates the ban in shops, streets or places of work. Punishment could range from the termination of one's work contract to deportation.

"Being a non-Muslim is no excuse ... deterrent measures will be taken against violators," the ministry said in a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency.

There are an estimated two million non-Muslim foreigners living in Saudi Arabia, which has a population of about 19 million.

During Ramadan, Muslims refrain from eating, drinking and sex from dawn to dusk. Muslims believe it was during Ramadan about 1,400 years ago that the Quran, their holy book, was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad.

The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia has urged Americans to be "particularly vigilant" for terrorist attacks during Ramadan.

"It is the Embassy's assessment that terrorist groups may place special operational significance on the upcoming month of Ramadan," the US Embassy said in a warden message posted on its Web site.

Britain and Australia warned their citizens this week against travel to Saudi Arabia, with the British Foreign Office saying it had received information that "terrorists may be in the final phases of planning attacks" in the kingdom.

"The president should make it clear that such extremist views will not be tolerated"

Now if only the Islamic Americans and Islamic nations would do the same, then terrorism would stop immediately.

A religion that keeps a guiding text advocating the death of non-believers is my enemy. Though I am not an evanjelical Christian, I can recognise my enemies and recognise the richeousness of General Boykin.

God keep him and God Damn the Satanic Islamists.

I'm grateful to Boykin for speaking the truth, a quality that has been smothered by policitcal correctness for too many years.

The avg Muslim struggles to buy food for his family.

The inference that people like him will be oputraged at what 1 man said in a US church is a joke.

Leftists hate Republicans for what they believe. Should we ban all Rep speech because it offends Dims?

Good point. Another thing that seems to be overlooked is that the General did not restrict his comments to Muslims, he also commented negatively against Kim Jung Il, who is clearly not a Muslim. But since that didn't fit their agenda of General vs. the Islamic World, they conveniently ignore those statements.

What's interesting is that what Boykin spoke at church would have enraged precisely 0 muslims had the liberal media not cranked its amps to ten and blasted the story all over the world. This whole "enraging the Muslims" warning has an odd circular/self-fulfilling quality to it.

It's the same evil spirit which galvanizes the blacks against whites, or the hispanics, or American Indians, or Catholics, or Protestants, or Evangelicals or Muslims. Only the names change.

The general is being trashed for his comments (in a relatively private setting) about another religion while Moslems, such as the Malaysian PM and Arafat's pet mufti, get the most gentle response - if any at all - for their very public comments about other religions.

Bush chastised the prime minister publicly and said nothing to his Pentagon official. To Muslims around the world, Bush's silence confirms their suspicion that this U.S. administration is waging a new crusade against Islam and Muslims.

In the article I read about the incident, it was specifically mentioned that President Bush chastized the Prime Minister privately, not publicly.

Read Hugh Hewitt's article http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1006564/posts
on Arkin's smear of General Boykin, you will see what this story is really about, and it isn't anti-Muslim intolerance. It is leftist political desperation, and the hatred writers like Arkin bear for America as a nation. The first sentence in this article might well be a total fabrication, or a regurgitated fabrication, as Arkin imay be the original fabricator. But, as you will see, Arkin is also desperate that we not find out whether he has distorted or committed fraud in the name of anti-American propaganda, as he refuses to release the transcripts of the Boykin's speech. I will dare to say, if the leftist's track record on things like this is consistent, that this whole controversy is Bovine Scatology, and nothing more

I told my liberal friends to educate themselves about Islam. The more you find out about this little cult of horrors the worse it gets. I have never found even one redeeming quality. It is truly an abyss that seems to destroy everything it touches.
