I can't speak for Terri. May she find peace.
As for me, my right to die, is MY right and does not belong to the state, the church or the courts. *IF* I'm unable to communicate my wishes, my spouse is the person that speaks for me. A pox on those who would turn my death into a circus for their own cause. A pox on those who would attack my spouse for attempting to carry out MY wishes. A pox on the legislature and the courts that would require extensive forms and documentation for an event (death) that is as natural as birth.
I claim and retain MY right to "death with dignity"

Had Terri foreseen how Mike was going to act, would she have wanted things the way you do for yourself? The default should there be any question that one might not want it, should be on the side of life.

I claim and retain MY right to "death with dignity"What do you mean "YOUR" right?
Where did you get that right you think you have?

I claim and retain MY right to "death with dignity" Must we help you?

What's so dignified about death? Personally I intend to wring out of life every minute I can. No one is pulling the plug on me if I can help it 'til God does.

Well said.

As for me, my right to die, is MY right and does not belong to the state, the church or the courtsYou have no right to set the time you die, that's suicide. The church recognizes suicide as sin, and the state recognizes it as a crime.
God is the only one who has the right to decide when anyone dies. He has delegated that authority to legitimate governments in a few specified circumstances such as punishment for murder or in defense of another life or lives, but he has not given you or me authority to end our lives at our discretion. That principle was understood, if not always obeyed, in all Western/Christian cultures until recently when men decided their personal "rights" supercede God's authority.

Have you even bothered to read any of the info concerning this specific case? No one is trying to take away your right to die, except Michael Schiavo and George Felos. They are manipulating your emotions over this issue to cover up their exploitation of an innocent woman.
The more that you people defend these crooks, the more you diminish your legitimacy concerning the "right to die". We might start thinking you are all out to personally profit from removing artificial life sustanance.
Please do mankind a favor and get more info before you continue to defend these shysters. Thanks
