He can't take a chance that she will regain coherence, because if she does, she'll spill the beans, and Mikey will be wearing orange overalls.

Let's think about this. Is she showing signs of improvement over the past decade? Is she indicating that she plans to say anything against her husband, and then take the stand? Is there any reason at all to think that such a scenario is remotely possible?

Terri's husband may have abused her in the past, and perhaps he's even responsible for her present condition. But there's no way that he's trying to kill her to silence her.

She has severe brain damage. Nobody disputes that.

She will never ever in a million years be able to make an accusation that is subject to cross-examination at trial.

Her husband is trying to kill her, without a doubt. But it can't be out of fear.

I think it's mostly greed (the life insurance payout he gets on her death), spiced by hatred of her (for not having the decency to die and make him rich years ago ) as well as rage against his inlaws for keeping him from what's righfully his-ie, the life insurance. But it's fear too, or why else has he stated that Terri is to be cremated IMMEDIATELY upon death?

From #301: "Within the past year, I have treated patients with brain defects similar to Mrs. Schiavo’s. In most cases, using cardiovascular medication style of therapy, my patients have shown some improvement, although the degree of that improvement is variable. By "improvement" I mean cognitive and physical items such as speech recovery, enhanced speech clarity and complexity, release of contractures, and better awareness of the patient’s surroundings. In my opinion and judgment, based on my 26 years of practice, Mrs. Schiavo has a good opportunity to show some degree of improvement if treated with this type of therapy, although I cannot anticipate how much improvement."

That would seem to be enough to induce some fear into Mikey.

She might not ever recover to the point of being able to testify or be deposed, but what if Terri partially recovers and Mikey walks into the room with Jodi, only to see Terri recoil from him in total fear? That would put a damper on the Mike-Jodi relationship, don't you think?

You are concluding things (her recovery) based on your desire (to see her die, based on the lies (dexsires) of her HINO), not on logic.

Logic, in fact, dictates exactly the opposite: That she has NEVER been treated, helped nor given encouragement to improve.

Given NOTHING but her own desire to live, despite the daily/hourly attempts to kill her and isolate her from ANY form of companionship, love, and affection, she has lived.

Thus far.

Given food, water, encouragement and therapy, she may (agreed, we do know for certain), she MAY live.

And in living, tell us what MS is trying to kill her for.
