Why would there be such outrage over this situation, if it was felt this woman was getting justice?
We do not intend to "shut up". Why are you so willing to let this man proceed with making Terri's decision for her (which, of course, leads to her death)? What is so wrong with a period of therapy? Gee - we don't ask much - just a little care for this woman.

You guys seem more than willing to cede that responsibilities to anyone OTHER than her legal husband(and like him or not, they are still legally married).
Because it is his right to do so.She cannot make decisions because she is incapacitated, so he makes them in her stead. No different than if it was you in that bed.
Funny how you guys seem to forget these things.
