Do they ever have a rally where they don't pass the buckets around and ask money?The FR one in DC didn't pass a bucket around but if you searched a bit you could find one to make a contribution if you wanted to.

Having a place for donations and passing buckets and putting folks on a guilt trip like the anti's do .. are IMO two different things

We get to fund these things out of our own pockets. We do have a contribution box at the rally.
This effort cost us between $3,000 and $4,000 to put on. FReepers can donate by going to www.dcchapter.com and following the instructions there.
