Ummm.....could that be...people shooting at you? There are no similarities. Liberating a country from a dictator like Saddam and helping install a govt is nothing like what went on in VietNam, IMO. I think Mr. Cline is using Viet Nam as a means to his agenda. If there had never been a viet nam war, they would still be opposed to Iraq.

There is one similarity between the Vietnam War and the War on Terrorism... the lefties killed the American war effort in Vietnam (which was a completely winnable and just war, until politics entered the mix) and the lefties are trying again to kill our efforts... The socialist left of the world hate America and will do anything to weaken our position of power. Yes they definitely would be opposing this effort... they note similarities that don't exist because the negative recollection of Vietnam (that was put in place by the left in the media) will lend sympathy to their current anti-America push.... and, yeah ...Shoot'em and let God sort'em out!! Sounds good to me!!!
