Sez who?I still have my letters from my husband in the 50s when he was on a 6mos.cruise.My son was 2 months old when he left. Stoic and busy ,he still had occasional homesick blue spells,as did his friends.It was supposed to be 9 months cruise so we had a nice surprise when it changed.I can imagine how much you'd love to be with your family.Bless you,LC.

Mrs. Cut has been saving letters from me since we were courting, and I went on deployment in the middle of it.

She's also saving a bunch of letters I've been writing to Mini Cut. She reads them to him now, and saves them so someday he can read them as well.
