Lord God, space and distance is nothing to You for You set everything in order. Nor is any power on earth significant in Your sight for You are the Almighty, the creator, the Lord of Hosts. We turn to You for help with tbpiper and his daughter and son. First, we pray for this family. We lift both father and mother to you that you would strengthen their hearts in time of distress. Encourage them with such faith that they will place their child in Your hands and believe beyond this realm in the realm that is eternal in the heavens. We pray for your healing of their child, and Lord, ahead of time we humbly submit to any type of healing You would give, even if it is the eternal healing of calling this child home.
We pray for the younger brother in Iraq. It is possible for soldiers to return in family crisis. We pray that you would soften the hearts of those who supervise this young man that they would grant that permission if his absence would result in no danger to his fellow soldiers. In that regard, we pray that you put a hedge of peace around this unit, around all these soldiers, Lord.
Bring this family together that they might be a comfort and a strength to each other. Demonstrate to them that there is no greater blessing than the eternity you promise us in Christ, reserved for us in the heavens. I pray for each to give their heart to You so that the reunion of eternity will wipe away any tear caused by pain and suffering in this world. We trust in Your decisions, in Your love, and in Your promises.
In the name of Jesus we pray, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
Amen.
