Good post farmfriend...while doing minerals exploration work in Nevada I was stopped several times by BLM gun- toters. While being asked what I was doing, the BLM thugs always kept one hand on their side arms. What jerks.
And they wonder why people supported Claude Dallas.

A good reason to kill off the BLM and turn the land over to the states.

I hope you saved a link to the thread that provocated this response for the benefit of a couple of those who said they thought such behavior impossible. A directed flag is in order. Some of these USFS people are nuts. California Fish and Game people are probably worse.

Example 1: In November 2001, at a sale of confiscated cattle in Palomino Valley, an observer, Ken Greenwell, a house builder from Fallon, Nevada, had a firearm in plain view in his pickup. A BLM gunman walked past and apparently thinking Ken was standing too close to his firearm drew his pistol and pointed it at Greenwell screaming for him to lay down on the ground. Ken and others who witnessed the incident said the gunman had his finger on the trigger, a wild look on his face, was visibly shaking, and definitely a dangerous look about him. The BLM gunman is C. J. Ross. The incident was caught by the camera of Jean Voigts and was first published in the Sparks Tribune. I wish I could remember the thread this picture was on..it was during the Klamath standoff.

(The environment is too complex to be managed by central planning.)

Those that can, do for themselves
Those that cant, work for the government.
It used to be those with authority complexes were weeded out and given nothing more than a whistle. Today the BLM seeks them out throws a gun in their shaky hands and instructs them to terrorize the people who pay their salaries.
The answer is obvious more fire power for civilians. Corrupt and out of control government bodies is precisely the reason there shall be no infringement on arms.
God, guns and Country, if this scares the liberty out of you, move to France.

I had a Park Ranger tell me to run so he could shoot me in the back. His name Was Brian Lakes and it happened at Florrisant Fossil Beds National Monument around 1992. I had been working on my deeded right-of-way at the time. These people have no business being armed!
