[ Anti-gun liberal Democrats have threatened to filibuster the bill, since they do not have the votes to stop its passage.]
Thanks a Lott.
And thanks a Frist, too.

The left is so low on ideas and creativity, they resort to shamelessly adopting the winning methods of their opposition. Their maestro Goebbels would be proud of them though.

Yeah, good idea, anti-gun lobbyist morons. Parade around in the senate and annoy all the politicans you're trying to influence.

Somehow, they always manage to make idiots of themselves. They invariably show up with well-orchestrated, cutesy little "skits" and slogans. Usually, these "presentations" have been contrived by some P.R. firm that they've hired, whose advertising "experts" pile on the schlock, as ad-droids are want to do. Unfortunately for the commie mommies, while such banalities might appeal to the Oprah-and-football crowd, they don't go over well at all with legislators, to whom decorum and circumstance are everything.
But they never learn... they just keep it up, year after year, with their frantic, lame "showmanship"... and I hope they keep right on doing it.

Hey, good for you, good work.
I would also "take a lib to the range", but by some strange quirk of fate, I don't personally know any libs!
However, my next door neighbor thinks that Gov. Davis (soon to be "ex") is practically a god; but you know what? He's an avid gun owner. Go figure, eh?
My best friend's dad is a socialist, never wanted to own a gun, despised guns; but then my friend took his dad to the range, and now he's a proud owner of a .357 magnum!
I think the gun community should get in sync and pick one day out of the year that would be known as "Take a Liberal to the Range Day". My choice for that date would be April 19th, the day that the "shot heard around the world" was fired at Lexington in 1775 (or was it Concord?).

"No industry in this country...has such a broad-based exemption from any type of liability for negligence," Reed alleged. Actually, that's incorrect. Bush signed a law that exempts vaccine companies from lawsuits arising from death and/or illness tied to a vaccine injection.

I am willing to bet that the Santa Cruz City Council will make a resolution against this bill.
Just a couple weeks ago, with HUGE budget deficits facing them, instead of working to solve the problem, they spent their entire session celebrating their passage of a resolution sending President Bush "the pink slip."

Bush signed a law that exempts vaccine companies from lawsuits arising from death and/or illness tied to a vaccine injection. That's protection from defective products, which the firearms companies are not getting.

Sheep
Pink Floyd
Animals Harmlessly passing your time in the grassland away;
Only dimly aware of a certain unease in the air.
You better watch out,
There may be dogs about
I've looked over Jordan, and I have seen
Things are not what they seem.
What do you get for pretending the danger's not real.
Meek and obedient you follow the leader
Down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel.
What a surprise!
A look of terminal shock in your eyes.
Now things are really what they seem.
No, this is no bad dream.
Gun control is my shepherd, I shall not want
He makes me down to lie
Through pastures green He leadeth me the silent waters by.
With bright knives He releaseth my soul.
He maketh me to hang on hooks in high places.
He converteth me to lamb cutlets,
For lo, He hath great power, and great hunger.
When cometh the day we lowly ones,
Through quiet reflection, and great dedication
Master the art of karate,
Lo, we shall rise up,
And then we'll make the bugger's eyes water.
Bleating and babbling I fell on his neck with a scream.
Wave upon wave of demented avengers
March cheerfully out of obscurity into the dream.
Have you heard the news?
The dogs are dead!
You better stay home
And do as you're told.
Get out of the road if you want to grow old.

Where can we get these puppets? One would think they'd be collectors items after the revolution comes and all the liberals have been put up against the wall and executed... (oops... did I just publicize our sooper sekrit plan? My bad...)
Psssssssst! Doncha know, the DUmmies are reading this site! We must only talk about The Plan during closed-door conspiracy sessions!

when a person kills during a DUI or DWI, the victem gets restitution from the defendant NOT the car manufacturer for making a car.

they are out of power and they can't hide it anymore.
They can't act like being out of power is temporary.
Their core, the democrat party, is fading to oblivion.
The largest tool is shriking and they are getting desperate because each passing day reduces their relevance.
In time, there will be no excuse to listen to them.

The left understands how a few armed citizens can cause serious problems to an invasion force. This is the Leonidas Memorial, there 300 Spartans (all chosen because they had families and sons) were able to hold back an army of thousands. At least until the enemy found a traitor to lead them through a mountain path to outflank the defenders. At the base of the statue is carved "molon labe." The left can only defeat the defenseless. There is no place that the left has ever been able to defeat the defended.
