Was that a recent quote by Estrich? I thought that she has been trying to come across lately as a more reasoned voice on relations between the sexes, evidenced by her criticism of the press "revelations" on Arnold Schwartzenegger.

I think that UM's Catherine McKinnon was the one who posited that all sex is rape as long as the culture is "dominated" by males.

I'm not sure who actually deserves the credit for that, but it's very insightful.

I can't say that it's completely true, though. There are exceptions to every rule, including that one.
