The Egyptian made several interesting voyages, not the least of which was to the land of Punt. They brought back apes, ivory, and, most valuable, frankincense trees. I don't know what the routes were, but they were pretty long voyages.

From what I understand, these were mainly trading land voyages. The Egyptians were known to ply the coastal waters of North Africa, but I don't rememeber anything about trips in the Atlantic.
Do you have any links to this information? Also, what did they use for boats?
