During the mid 1980s - when I briefly had a part-time job as ramp agent at Logan's International Terminal, I would see one of El Al's planes come in from time to time. These guys didn't fool around even back then. People with machine guns would guard the plane the whole time it was parked on the tarmac. I like the way El Al takes care of business.

That's probably because the 70's and early 80's were the heydays of hijacking and air terror. Much of this came from the PLO and the father of modern day air terror, yassir arafat.
