Well, I guess that if someone's name were Meagan, it could rhyme with vegan, but the name Megan just doesn't make that sound, unless you're one of those people who would pronounce egg "Ayg" or catch "Caych"... but that would just be a case of a socio-economic background based dialect which is a misuse of the English language.
