Not lately. Consider that he had 40+ home runs, but a relatively paltry 107 RBI. That means he drove in himself nearly half the time. Considering some of those other RBIs came on his home runs, that leaves very few non-home-run RBIs. So he's not the guy you want up when a single or double is needed. Especially because he refuses to hit to left. That makes his only single possibilities seeing-eye singles or line-drives over the infield. It's no wonder he's hit .250 when all four infielders play to the right of second base.
