All bets are off when it comes to game 7.

So who pitches the 11th for the Yankees (if Contreras gets out of this inning)? Do you think they'll go back to Contreras?

Look, this is managing 101. This is solid fundamental managing on Torre's part. Nothing questionable about this call at all.

Other than the windy game 6 performance in the ALCS, Jose Contreras has been solid in middle relief. He should be a solid number three starter next year (after Mussina/Pettitte, not necessarily in that order).
