Reality: Jeter grounds out.
But it was fun watching Clemens lumber towards 2nd.

Roger looked bad running. Man, I'm faster and I'm three months younger than him.
For a guy who works out he's slower than a Boston Red Sox.

Yankees are looking bad tonight. I think they still have a shot to win it, after all, they're only down two, but the fans are much more into the game tonight, and the Marlins are playing like they did all postseason when behind in a series. Have they made any errors yet in this series?

I still can't believe anyone throws Soriano a strike. He's making Boone look like Edgar Martinez.

I did forget to add:
thud thud thud <---Clemens running towards second.

For a guy who works out he's slower than a Boston Red Sox. I suspect that pitchers are a little more wary when running the bases. They don't want to jam a finger or sprain an ankle. Clemens ran as though he wanted to avoid all contact.

Jeter must be saving heroics for laaate in the game; Thus far, the Yank Captain has been less than inspiring.
To: Catspaw
Hahaha, Clemens put his hands up to cover his face as he went towards second, that's great.

You know there's a South Park thread running, too. The biggest thread right now involves the Schavio situation, which although has political and moral issues involved, is not really an ideological pure thread.
I mean, really, we got lives, y'know?
Man, Clemens can't run! Jeez!

Teasing. Boston would be here if Pedro wasn't macho.
Seriously, they almost beat the Yankees.
But, other than Damon, those boys can't run.

The biggest thread right now involves the Schavio situationThread after thread after thread....sometimes 3-4 posts of the same article, plus vanities. I feel sorry for the mods.

"Roger looked bad running.""Rocket's" nickname surely wasn't coined by watching him run. My impression of Clemens running was reminiscent of watching my son years ago hustling with a full load in his Huggies.

I couldn't believe Pudge legged out a double there. He was running all the way. A better arm might have nailed him, maybe Ichiro if he played center field. But it still would have been close.
