He's probably not even worried about 'insurance' money, 'malpractice' money or any other awards at this point. A 'Book Deal' is, without doubt, already in the works with 'Screen Play Rights' to follow... The longer this goes on...the better the "Story"

AND... the longer she survives, the longer he waits to collect. (can't finish the story without her death).
