But the bastards aren't going to pass it as a stand alone bill -- they know they don't have the votes to do that. The strategy is to attach the language to the appropriations bill, because that's a "must pass" bill or the government shuts down. And you know who they'll blame for shutting down the government -- we "racist" creeps who won't give amnesty to illegal aliens. (And this IS an amnesty bill, it give legal status to those who broke the law to get here.) McCain and Cannon need to be defeated in their primaries over this.
