I'm praying for Terri.

The USA Today article in today's (Thurs) paper upset me, by having a specialist refer to her as being "in a vegetative state". Hey, expert! Vegetate means to be like a stone. Why call "vegetative" someone who goes into sleep and waking cycles and whose eyes move and react and who had tears in her eyes when told that the State was going to kill her?

I awakened in wee hours thinking of Terri. Caught the repeat of Thurs 10/23 Greta van Susteren 'on the record' -- 5/5 speakers were pro-death. Greta did NOT dig for info, she let it ride when someone said Terri was using taxpayers money, rather than asking where the jury settlement for Terri's care went. On the long thread, we see michael living high. The family is willing to care for her at THEIR expense. But that BASIC INFO is not pointed out. I guess all FoxNews $$ is on Kobe now? We do not get our validation from any man or institution -- but too bad the real story doesn't get heard. It's truly up to us.

May God give us all strength, ability and wisdom beyond our own.

God, I'm grieving for Terri -- for the wrong that continues to be done to her. We pray that You will right now give her peace and comfort and support. May she receive all the care and support she needs to sustain her life and return her to her family. She is a precious young lady who is known to You and dear to You. Surround her with Your light and presence -- may angels seen and unseen minister to her, speak the truth of her, NOW and in coming days.

Be with Terri's family. What precious people they are -- father, mother, brother, sister. They simply want Terri returned to them. Give them continued strength, wisdom, WORDS, right actions.

We are all learning much from this sustained intense fight against evil. We should not be surprised at it, but it DOES grieve us. We ask rather than being cowed that we be strengthened by our (YOUR!) conviction. This cannot be our battle -- we do not have the power on our own!

Give us each strength for today: eyes and a heart to SEE/perceive what is best to do, and the wisdom, courage, and strength and material blessings to DO IT. Thank you for each person who opposes this wrong -- we ask comfort as we grieve this continued wrongdoing.

May the person who can, act.

Whatever the outcome ("even if You do not..."), we praise You as our God and Father. Thank You for Your goodness -- may we walk in Your ways, Your light! Keep us close to You; forgive our sins as we submit to You -- In Jesus' Name -- Amen.
