You anti-war protesters are planning big marches this weekend in Washington and San Francisco.

It means Sunni and Kurd and Shia turning on one another. It means civil war and anarchy. It means the breakdown of infrastructure, the collapse of water and electrical supplies. It means disease and privation for millions of people and particularly children.

Boas, as one of the only conservative columnists at the Republic hits this one right on the head.

No surprise, really.  Liberals hate people, don't trust people, and are essentially just evil.  The fact that pulling out of Iraq would cost hundreds of thousands of people their lives is of no consequence to them.

They could have cared less when Saddam was jailing and torturing children and when Uday and Quasay were throwing people into industrial plastic shredders.  Why would they care about the welfare of anyone but the anointed now?

As long as it makes Bush look bad, it doesn't matter how many children die.

Collateral damage.

Is the Washington Rally this weekend a counter-protest to the anti-war crowd?

Look if they get one of theirs back in power who cares. I mean Iraqis are not members of the elite are they? Hey 1 million in Cambodia when we picked up and ran. 1 million or so in Africa. 20 million or so in the Soviet Union and another 30-40 million in China, throw in another 2 million in North Korea. Well you get the point, it's all for the children. The left is for peace and understanding, a 100 million or so is a small price to pay.
