You guys are good. I missed the part about the forensic dude saying where the head was detached. I was thinking that IF Scott had struck her hard enough, he might have detached it for several reasons - one, the damage to her head as cause of death and two, the dental records if she was found. I still think that his mopping the floor and doing laundry is part of the puzzle. He was covering up something messy.

A lot of hard blows could break the skull and push pieces into the brain. The scalp also is very vascular and bleeds like he!! if cut. If bone was forced into the brain matter, it WOULD bleed profusely and yes, there could be some bluh spattr pattern. Who knows what he really used or if he did it that way. Aren't we guessing here or is there an article about that?

It makes sense to me that Snott likely drugged and strangled Laci. He could have even smothered her. I pray to God we are going to find out what happened during the trial.

Yeah, he was cleaning up something, apparently. Maybe I've watched too many true crime shows, but it's so hard for me to believe he could've gotten ALL of it up. For example, if blood or some fluid runs out on the kitchen floor, a person can get the floor spotless, but all they have to do is take some cabinets out to see some run-off. One can't mop under the cabinets!
And then there's the problem of flying blood drops! Who knows where they'd land? How could he have gotten them all?
As for where her head was detached, the way I've heard it, I've heard that it was detached rather far down--below where the neck appears to end on a living person.
Maybe we should be thinking of OJ. The mortician had to use some sort of stints just to make poor Nicole's head stay relatively stable while in the coffin, b/c he had ALMOST cut her head off. If Nicole had been submerged in SF Bay, her head probably would've come off soon after.
But OJ left SO MUCH blood! And we never hear of any blood in this case!

All guessing and based on the word of the guy in the next cell, according to the Globe! We need this whole thing to get moving, no more delays!

Sounds right to me!
Something sharp... like a fireplace poker, as in one of our favorite guilty verdicts, lol.

We're guessing--b/c that inmate's golf club story has surfaced again.

"
And, briefly brings up the irony of Melvin King meeting with Cory Carroll, and talking with Amber."That does not say that Amber (or Scott) met, or spoke of, or had anything to do with Cory Carroll.
You're quite right, it's a dangling clause. I made a complete sentence out of it by taking the misplaced period, threw in a comma before "and" instead of after, and think I understood perfectly well what the writer was "glazing" over. Of course, that might not make Amber look too good, so we better not go there.

"taking out" the misplaced period.

Seems likely, since we haven't heard anything about her blood being found in the house.
So I guess the mess on the kitchen floor was the alleged vomit. But why the bleach and the vacuuming, I wonder?
To: Devil_Anse
Thanks for the email. I didn't know that.

G'night, CO.
Yes, well, allegedly they checked the mop and found slight traces of blood and vomit on it. Yecch.

Over here, Yaelle, are answers to your questions regarding red paint on Scott's boat. Are you on runningbear's "ping" list? She does a wonderful job keeping everyone up-to-date on what's happening. Thanks, runningbear.
To: runningbear
I am sorry miss bear, sorry to bug you repeatedly, but I didn't get this ping either. What am I doing wrong? Give me your home address and I will send chocolate chip cookies. LOL. I am a Real Ping List Wannabe!

Laci was still in the home That phrasing really is most peculiar. It sounds like speech that was planned and that he is thinking in the 3rd person.

Would anyone here think that just b/c some broad was fool enough to let her boyfriend photograph her posing nude, that that gives him the right to sell her nudie pics and spread them all over the globe, making money and not giving her any of the money? Did you get a chance to ask Dr. Laura?? LOL.
