I somehow think we're getting waaaaaaay off track here.!! I think he may well have punched her a good one - probably in the ribs or belly, forced GHB down her throat so that she could offer no resistance, and then however he planned to KILL her, he then went ahead with. He could have even smothered her, strangled her or whatever. The vomit on the mop with flecks of blood has always bothered me somewhat. Besides, she had broken ribs on one side. I know that many have conjectured that her ribs could have been broken from a boat propeller, however, "something" in THAT house caused her to vomit and vomit hard enough to break a few small blood vessels. It is a possibility that a rib could have punctured a lung and she would have had blood in her lung or lungs. These things, we'll never know for sure UNLESS the creep confesses. I am pretty positive that Sociopaths don't confess.

Yeah, we're way off track here. Your theory is certainly feasible and a good one; however, I think he hired someone to off her and they said, "OK for a price, but you have to clean up and get rid of the body". Scott said, "It's a deal".

You know, I hate to say this, but that little **** Scott is crafty and even gutsy at times. Imagine playing that prank on the cops, about the lights being out! Given that he seems to be such a very experienced and accomplished liar, given that he was a very careful planner regarding body disposal, it's not too much to think that he killed the poor girl in some more creative way. Carbon monoxide? Or just smothered her with a pillow? Dropping appliance in bathtub with her in tub? Poison?

As for the GHB, he needn't have forced it down her throat! He could have just put it in her cup of hot chocolate, if she was drinking a cup of something. It's supposed to be tasteless.

I would hereby like to declare that when my husband, who is about 6'3", swung his "pretend" golf club up to "hit me in the head", his HANDS almost touched the ceiling!! Much less, the golf club! And these are 8' ceilings, or whatever is standard in most houses nowadays! And I'm quite sure Laci's and Scott's ceilings were the same height.

Well, it was the new NE article that Maggie kindly posted at 521, that made us start wondering if he could have hit her in the head with a golf club WHILE IN THE HOUSE. That's what the inmate says he "confessed" to. No way!

Oh, yeah, surely some of these guys are looking for that. Or they're just selling stories to the tabloids. You know how prisoners always have moneymaking schemes. And they don't care how little money it is. And perhaps the jailers are getting their cut.

Plus, I maintain that he couldn't have swung a golf club on her in the house w/o gouging the ceiling or hitting a wall or something. And we've heard of no such evidence. No way.

Correct, a 6 ft.+ person can't get a full swing in a room with an 8' ceiling, not even with a short iron. That's why I said a half swing.
