Yes, I love my car, and it is silver. (A 2003, fully loaded with everything - integrated GPS, hands-free cellular, all that.)

What I miss, though, is that I never ONCE had my Z-3 in the shop for anything other than an oil change (and I loved that maintenance indicator system). My Audi has probably been in five times since I got it last winter. Arrrrrgh!

The electrical system went nutty (faulty fan module) and stranded me, my radio/CD player - which I must admit kicks the hiney of the one in my BMW (I'm a musician and there is just no comparison...Audi's Bose system kills that thing) - died once...but thankfully, service is good and the dealer I bought it from goes way above and beyond to make it easy for me. He's delivered loaners to me, 200 miles roundtrip for him, every time it's needed service unless I was headed up his way anyway.

Anyway!! Enjoy your BMW!!! They are GREAT cars. If they had kept the Z-3 body style, I would probably be driving a dark grey one now...best car I ever had, in terms of durability, reliability - and it was a joy to drive!

Mine is Titanium silver. I first saw it with the sun bouncing off the angles and it reminded me of a finely cut diamond.

In the 9 months that I've had it, it's been in the shop once, for one hour. My cupholder broke. ;o)

That's what I love about Beemers...ya' can't break 'em.
