I called Morton Plant Hospital (727-462-7000).

The lady siad they were starting to get some calls, she could confirm nor deny anything and transfered me to a fax line when I asked to speak to the media rep.

That's an understatement. The medical privacy act forbids them from revealing anything except cursory information to third parties.
