They may do all of that but what they can't do is react to Mom the way she reacts to anybody else and fit the defintion of persistent vegetative state

If she does that repeatedly when she sees her Mom (not even frequently, just more than one or two) and she doesn't do that with anyone else, then I would agree with you.

All I'm saying is that I can't tell that from the video. When I first went to terrisfight.org and saw that great photo of Terri smiling up at her Mom, I couldn't wait to see the video moment. Then I realized that it was only one second of a fifteen second video clip, and that for the rest of the clip, Terri is just staring into space.

Again, if she only gives her Mom beaming smiles (even one-second ones), that's evidence she ain't in no PVS. But the videos are ambigiuous to me.

Her father has been more than clear that Terri reacts to he Mom differently than she does to him, her brother, sister or any health care workers. How she reacts to her twerp of a husband is anybodys guess.

Having seen several vidoes of Terri and her mother I believe that he is right, she does react to her mother the way an infant would. I don't believ in killing infants, hell I don't believe in killing one day old embryos. And I sure the hell don't believ the state has any business issuing orders to cut off food and hydration to a woman when there is reasonable doubt at to her wishes, her state and her chances for rehabilitation.

You must've seen a different video than I saw. She was blank until Mom came in, became animated, smiled and continued to do so while Mom was adjusting her pillows/bed. That is quite a bit more than one second.

There are even MORE VIDEOS of Terri but Judge Greer would not let them into evidence. Dad Schindler held a press conference last week showing the additional videos with audio. Although he did it risking a contempt of court charge, Atty Felos surprised everyone and CUT OFF THE FAMILY'S VISITATION RIGHTS INSTEAD while she was being starved to death last week.

When that got out, Felos restored their visitation rights. The video that was at the presser went further than the flash moves. It's no wonder J. Greer wouldn't let them into evidence. She was even laughing on the tape. It was no reflex action.

Further, Terri's brother has been visiting her numerous times a day and whispering in her ear to hang in there because they were going to get her outta there.
