It saddens me to read that you would let Stephen Hawking die of starvation/dehydration, but then, there are heartless people in the world, my Momma always told me that and at 58 I'm now cewrtain of it.

The doctors told Dr. Hawking that he wouldn't live past 25. He nearly committed suicide over it, but he had friends and family for support. He is well past 60 years old today and has an active professional career, holding the Lucasian Chair of Mathematics at Cambridge University.
