Press Release
Schiavo kept from receiving visitors
Husband of disabled Pinellas woman barring any visitors from seeing Terri Schiavo
Clearwater, FL October 22, 2003: On Tuesday, October 21, 2003, Terri Schindler-Schiavo was transported from the Hospice Woodside facility in Pinellas Park, Florida to Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. At that time, her gastric tube was reinserted and the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation has learned that she is receiving liquids as of this writing.

Michael Schiavo has ordered that the hospital may not permit any visitors for Terri, including her parents and siblings. As of 8.00 am (ET) Wednesday morning, Terri’s immediate family is not allowed to visit her and is not permitted to have any information regarding her physical condition.

If Mr. Schiavile isn't Terri's guardian anymore, how can he order that her family not be permitted to visit?

Time to call Jeb Bush and let him know that as Terri's GUARDIAN he can rescind that order--and forbid Michael Schiavile and his pregnant girlfriend from seeing that poor woman!

Imagine having that vulture and his vulturess at your bedside while you're fighting for your life!

Can't somebody TERMINATE this @$$h*l*'s authority over this poor woman????? I thought this was implicit in the order that it was taken out of HIS hands. It is so transparently obvious that he does NOT have Terri's best interest at heart!

Ping to post #1150.

I thought he was no longer her legal guardian?
