REQUEST: anyone who hasn't done so already, please vote at www.billoreilly.com in his poll about Terri. He will note the results on television tonight(as he did last night with preliminary results: 68% FOR reinserting her feeding tube and 32% AGAINST---the #'s have changed very little since.) This would give wide coverage to positive public opinion on this issue--something that could pay dividends in the long run.

Well, maybe he would be interested in why a non-terminal patient has been in hospice for free so long? *Maybe* he wouldn't be as bad as many of us worry about. Honestly, until he's actually appointed as GAL and we see what actions he takes, we shouldn't bother him yet. He may very well be someone who will help.

I received Bible verses by e-mail everyday. In fact, it is one of the first things I look for every morning. This is from today:

While many have heard that Terri Schiavo's feeding tube has been re-inserted, her life is in eminent danger. Michael Schiavo is still her legal guardian. The would-be murderer is responsible for guarding his own victim! In addition when Terri was moved from hospice, he immediately blocked visitation rights at the hospital for her parents, siblings and family priest - the only source of Terri's comfort, love and joy. An emergency motion ordered visitation restored for the family but it was not received in the attorney's offices until 5:15PM today. By the time the family was able to get down to the hospital, her husband had removed her from the hospital and taken to an "undisclosed location" - we are told perhaps back to hospice. In any case, the family has not been informed - they do not know her medical condition or whether the feeding tube has been reinstated or not. An IV was inserted at approximately 9:30 last night. This is a woman starved for 7 days with no food or water yet Michael has the audacity to remove her from the hospital care! It is an outrage that Michael Schiavo and his attorney feel they can spit in the face of the governor, the Fl House and Senate - and trample Terri's rights with absolutely no regard for her health, happines or wishes. Complaints have been filed through the Department of Health and Human Services yet nothing is being done to protect Terri from physical harm or to assure her rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please take a moment and file your complaint with the Office of Civil Rights. I'm not sure where its at now, but I heard that there was going to be a 15 day assessment period. If so, then this should confirm her state today.

The report also said, that she has no cerebral cortex, and that the big eyes etc. are just reflex actions. If she actually has no cerebral cortex this should be confirmed in the 15 day assessment period. If it is confirmed, then really, in all honesty, no amount of rehab will help.

They also mentioned that the husband was not what the family is saying he is, and that it was a campaign against him. (words to that effect). Do we really know the truth here, maybe the family is juming to conclusions out of high emotion.

They also said that Florida law is such that a feeding tube does constitute life support.

As much as I feel terribly sorry for the family and Terry, if she really is 'brain dead', would she not be better off in a better place?

I don't agree, sorry. If you listen to they attorney and anyone connected with him, including the husband, everyone is a liar and/or misstating everything. Now, where one might conclude that Terri's family might have a little prejudice here (I don't believe they do) then you would not count what they say. But, look at the volumes of people, professionals, specialists who have had first-hand dealings with the Schiavo team and they have NOTHING to gain by coming forward with there stories. Even if Terri is beyond hope (I don't believe she is) then you still have the issues of the husband, his attorney(s), questionable antics and conduct by Judge Greer, and last but not least, the medical professionals who have stated at more than one facility about Terri's medical records being "sanitized, tampered with to remove documentation of her condition". I made a post on one of the threads and asked a simple question: If someone removed medical information from your records in order to present to someone who might view them to make an analysis, or doctored same records to present a lack of progress, etc., thereby completely distorting the reality of the situation AND these records were used to make a determination of whether you lived or died, wouldn't you be upset? This involves everyone, because next time, it might be you. Plus, the people who have done this have much to gain and much to lose depending on the outcome.

Flordia doesn not recognize common-law marriages. Thus, he is merely an adulterer. Someone posted that he could be charged on abuse and morals grounds. In ancy case, considering that he is in a frenzy to have her die, he should not have control over her.

Michael has repeatedly demonstrated that he means her harm. Why else keep her parents from visiting, prevent last rites, etc.?

Obviously you have not followed these threads, or you would know that she is quite responsive, to the point of speaking on many occasions.

Scribletts problem is that he or she has not educated themselves on the reality of the situation. The people who bind themselves to news reports and treating what Schiavo and his corrupt attorney say either will not take the time to look at the facts or don't care. Either way, I have had it myself with explaining over and over to people who argue what we know to be true about Terri and still will not accept it.

Scriblett can learn, but because we are all fighting to save he from the devil himself right now, I know I myself don't have much tolerance. I am almost always on the net about Terri or FR. I have hardly contacted any friends of mine (except to talk about this). This is a real change for me since I used to e-mail people all the time. Most of my energies are devoted to work, family, and Terri, and I don't feel bad about it at all.

Do you know what the cerebral cortex is? It is only ARGUED that the cerebral cortex is the organ of human mentation. Abnormalities in the cerebral cortex is still being studied with the relations in human behavior. No one has a clear understanding of its developmental processes.

Try to clear your internet cache. Using IE it's tools, (I think) internet options, then on first tab click delete tempoary internet files. It usually works well.
