Well, one way or another, he's had a couple of knockers recently.

"The Tokyo Giants do not play at the Triple A level, I assure you."
The curent Yomiuri Giants are probably a high Triple A team at best. No way are they at the major league level. A Japanese All-Star team which included all the Japanese players in the Majors right now would probably be a low to mid-level major league squad.

Boone is married to a Playboy centerfold. Ah, but you have the advantage on him my friend, he has never seen your wife naked.

NY Fox 5 did an interview with her.
I wonder if she is why he swings late, pulls the ball.

"Sure, he isn't a typical rookie but playing in the Japan league is like playing at a triple A level..."I would assume it's more like middle-quality MLB.

He must have a good personality! >:)

SORIANO WALKED?? Torre super-glued the bat to Sori's shoulder. Only way it happens.

Soriano broke his string of 127 straight strikes in a row.... Nobody pads an opposing pitcher's strike-to-ball ratio like Soriano.

"It's not Matsui's fault that he's technically a rookie."True, but like I said -- "those are the rules"...

Just lurking on the thread tonight but I thought I'd interject that Jackie Robinson was the first ever Rookie of the Year and he was a 28 year old who was a veteran of the Negro League. I think the Negro Leagues of the 1940's and before were more comparable to the major league baseball of that time than Japenese Baseball is now. If Robinson deserved to win the award (and he did), Matsui deserves to win the award. Just a little perspective here.

Legitimate point.
To: F16Fighter
True, but like I said -- "those are the rules"... I know, that's my point. You can't decide to make Matsui the sacrificial lamb to make a point about the 'unfairness' of the rule to younger players. The rule is the rule until it is changed, and it should not be changed until after voting is completed.
