I agree, in addition he should order the troopers to shoot her "husband" and his attorney if they so much as take a step towards her door.

``This bill so oversteps our role it ... turns democracy on its head,'' said Rep. Dan Gelber, D-Miami Beach.

Did this mental giant happen to explain his opinion?

It so very obvious that Michael Schiavo is DETERMINED to kill Terri. It ought to be obvious to a rational Judge as well. This is like a crusade by someone desperately attempting to get rid of evidence. I hope the Guardian Ad Litem will move her out of the State. It's pretty clear that Florida is NOT safe to the sick, the elderly and the disabled.

Bush need to send the State Police immediately to Terri's care facility.

Agreed, one hundred percent. And anyone who interferes should be immediately arrested and charged with a felony.

It doesn't give him dictatorial powers. The bill is very specific, you should read it before making such claims.

What is it with liberals? They will fight tooth and nail to keep a convicted/guilty serial killer from getting the gas, but then object to a family who wants keep their innocent daughter alive. It would be one thing if there was a Living Will, but if there is even the shadow of a doubt, shouldn't we error on the side of life. Isn't that always the arguement against the Death Penalty? You just have to love their reasoning...protect the guilty but condemn the innocent.

Does any freeper know what the story is with regard to when terri's tubes are being reinserted? I won't celebrate until poor Terri is at least getting water again.

Please, freepers, anyone who knows for sure what the next step is, please post. This limbo of post-approval-of-bill, pre-insertion-of-tubes is aginising.

With greer they are dealing with a kangeroo court.

greer does not need any legal grounds. He will manufacture one.

felows [sp], greer, and michael are in cahots on this case.
Anything felows asks for he gets. He will overturn it.

I did notice that michael has changed his tune slightly.

At this point in time felows, greer, and michael are sweating bullets because their legalized murder of Terri for her insurance money and law suit settlement money scheme be exposed.

This is the reason that Terri must die.

It's stuff like this that will ultimately cause people to take up arms against the judiciary.

Amen to that! If she ever recovers enough to tell her tale, I'll bet it's going to be a doozy, and it wouldn't surprise me if it involved premeditated you know what.

I'm so disappointed with Jeb Bush I could just scream.
Why? He did exactly what he promised to do. Do you even understand that he can't just sign some sort of executive order and overthrow a state court ruling? If Terry Schiavo lives, it will be because of Governor Bush taking action and not because of your carping and complaining.

You Bush-bashers will look for any excuse. If Governor Bush walked on water, you'd slam him for not being able to swim.
