My view of hospice and hospice workers is forever changed.

Same here. I thought they were kind people who helped people pass in peace and comfort. Now, I think they're pro-death and tourtous-type Kavorkians!!!

I think that the problem with some Hospice situations are that they are too quick to over medicate and hurry the death along. I don't know that it is with malice most of the time, but that they see the death as the foregone conclusion and lose sight of the preciousness of each day God gives us. They too quickly make their own personal judgment regarding "quality of life".
