Carlo, I love your list, but I have a problem.

I HATE THE FAKE SUGAR!!!

I don't think it is too healthy, anyway, but I just don't like it. It seems like all the low carb cookbooks and recipes are focused on sweets using the sugar substitutes. I am frustrated. What do you suggest?

Almost all diets call for a regimented strict adherence to the rules of their formula for their weight loss program in order to reach any satisfactory goals. They do this for a number of concrete reasons the least of which is in order to ferret out the bad or disappointing results which get always seem to get reported by the skeptics.

If you are willing to accept a longer period for results, don't use the substitute sugar sweeteners. If you cannot or will not use that stuff, and I can't say I disagree, then use a little sugar, but don't stop the other constraints and fall off the program completely.. Anything is better than nothing. You will lose weight if you follow all of the other aspects of this or any diet, with or without faux sweeteners. OTHERS MAY DISAGREE.  SO WHAT??  Screw 'em, just remember that you heard it here first... LOLOLOL
