It's been 50 years and still no physical evidence. Not true. Even 50 years ago there was physical evidence. I'll direct you to the case of Officer Loni Zamora in New Mexico. Besides his witnesseing the craft firsthand, there was physical evidence left behind of a landing (indentations, burns), and independent witnesses in a neighboring town who saw the vehicle in flight.

A fire on the ground is evidence of ET's? How do we know he didn't do it himself?

Quite so and many others as well . . .
Quite a number with multiple witnesses and multiple witnesses with evidence on and/or in their bodies.
But I wouldn't hold false hopes if I were you. Many of biases of the fossilized rigidity of some posting hereon will not believe until they are abducted, taken to ET's homeworld with a video cam and semi-trailer load of artifacts loaded for return parading around the country.
Sigh.

We want physical evidence of the kind you can bag and tag. Anything, even balsa wood and mylar. Considering how they drive, the countryside should be littered with broken parts off their ships.
